The float property is used to position elements to the left or right of their containing block, causing other elements (such as text) to wrap around them. It is typically used for layouts that require side-by-side content, such as images or columns with text wrapping.

Common uses-

  • Wrapping text around images.
  • Creating multi-column layouts (although flexbox and grid have largely replaced this use).

Example

 margin-right: 20px;
}
